Name: Giselle
From what movie: Enchanted
Age: 24
Appearance:
Giselle has long red hair that is always pulled back into a mass of curls at the crown of her head. She often wears a jewled tiara to keep it up. Her eyes are bright emerald green, and sparkling all the time. Her skin is pale. She could be mistaken for Irish once in a while too. She stands about 5'6 and weights probably about 112 pounds. Giselle usually loves wearing poofy dresses like her wedding dress, but for now had switched to more flowing and narrow dresses, mostly the one fashioned from Robert's curtains.
History: Giselle hails from the blissfull land of Andalasia, where anything that is a fairy tale cliche is more or less present and tangible. She has the ability to communicate with any and all animals, including her chipmunk sidekick Pip and make her own dress-making with materials she finds around the house.
Her dream is to marry Prince Charming, of whom she is certain is her one true love and he finds him on the face of Prince Edward. Unfortunately, Edward's stepmother Queen Narissa does not wish to give up her crown, which she will be forced to do if he marries and manages to banish Giselle to the real world, or more accurately, New York City. There, her blind trust in people is tested as nobody comes to her aid, and when she asks for help, she gets her crown stolen by an old homeless man. She manages to meet and eventually fall in love with Robert Philip, a divorce lawyer who is the typical NYC cynic. While she maintains her innocence and naivety in this strange new land, there are times that even the harsh demeanor of the Big Apple push her slightly over the edge. She attends the King's and Queen's Ball, where she accepts a poisoned apple from Queen Narissa. Robert saves her with the "True Love's Kiss". There, Giselle's image of the quintessential princess is flipped as she climbs a building to come to Robert's rescue. Eventually, Giselle decides to leave Andalasia and stay in New York City, marry Robert, and open a dress store called "Andalasia Fashions".
