Giselle sighed and pulled her hair out of its mass of curls, shaking the red locks free as she smoothed the wrinkles from her dress. She was walking on a familiar path, her back to the castle where Prince Edward and his new wife now lived. Not that she cared. She had Robert. Smiling at the thought, she did a little twirl, something she often did when singing or happy.
"Giselle!"
The young woman looked up as the chipmunk emerged from the bushes and scrambled up the side of her dress, coming to rest on her shoulder. She laughed, continuing down the road.
"Pip, you should really be with Edward. You're his pet." She said after a moment.
"He's too busy with Nancy now. I want to come with you!" He squeaked and Giselle laughed again.

A flash of light came from behind a tree. A young girl of about twelve years came from behind it. Her breathing was heavily and her bright blue eyes felt full of fear. She had again gone off to a strange land that she was not familiar with. She had been in the woods picking some berries for her mother's blueberry pie and next thing she knew she had been transported to this land. The basket was still on her arm filled with berries. She looked around and noticed Giselle who seemed to know her way around. She hurried over to her.
"Excuse me miss. My name is Alice and I seem to be lost. Would you happen to know where I am and how I can get back to {Enter London town name here}. Its almost time for tea and my mother needs the berries for her pie for after supper. If it is not too much trouble of course."
Alice asked Giselle politely.

Giselle turned to look at the young girl as she spoke, listening to every word she said.
"I only know the way to New York. How did you get here?" She asked, glancing behind Alice. "I'm Giselle," She paused, doing a small curtsey, and smiling at her. "And you're in the land of Andalasia." Giselle explained. Something tugged on a curl of her hair. "And this is Pip." She added, gesturing to the chipmunk.
"I suppose there's always the well, but I'm not sure it leads to anywhere else besides New York." She murmured, tapping a finger to her chin in thought.

"New York? I am afraid I never heard of it. Is that near London?"
Alice asked then the other question came from Giselle towards Alice.
"Well I was picking these blueberries in the forest near my house for my Mother's blueberry pie. And then their was a flash of light and I came into this place."
Alice said telling her tale.

"New York is in the United States. I think London is in England, which is across the ocean." Giselle told her. "But the Well, which is the only way out of Andalasia, may be able to send you back to London. I'm not sure."
"Blueberries?" Pip squeaked, wrinkling his nose. He spotted the basket on Alice's arm and leapt toward them, but Giselle grabbed him by the tail, holding him up to glare at him. "Sorry." She said to Alice.

"Oh but London is so far from my home. And it is probably getting late at my-OH!"
Alice said a bit startled by the talking chipmunks. Then again she had listened to a talking cat before so what made a chipmunk different.
"Well I do have quite a lot. So I suppose I could share."
Alice said taking a small handful offering it to Pip.

"Where exactly do you live then?" Giselle asked, smiling slightly at the girl's reaction to Pip. "We can walk while we talk if you'd like, and I can show you around a bit I suppose." She offered, gesturing to the road ahead of her.
Pip wriggled in her hand, but jumped into Alice's hand and ate a few blueberries from the small amount. "Pip, what do you say?"
"Thanks!" The chipmunk squeaked at Alice, smiling at her.

Alice nodded at Giselle's idea and she began to walk with Giselle.
"Well I live in a town on the outskirts of London. It still is quite a bit of a journey from my home to London. I live with my parents, my older sister nad my cat Dinah."
Alice said. She laughed a bit as the chipmunk tickled her hand as he ate the blueberries.
"Oh you are very welcome."

Giselle thought for a moment. "I don't know any other ways out of Andalasia except through the Well, which I'm certain only leads to New York." She said.
She sighed, folding her arms across her chest as she continued to think, glancing at Pip who was still eating the blueberries in Alice's hand.

"Well I am sure I will be able to find my way back. This isn't the first time I have been into a strange land I am not familiar with."
Alice said the memories of her experience in Wonderland coming back and how she had nearly lost her head by The Queen of Hearts. She hoped Andalasia was not like that.

"Really? Where else have you been?" Giselle questioned. The young woman always did enjoy traveling. "I've always wanted to visit other lands besides this one and New York. I love to travel."
She smiled at Alice as they walked down the road she had been traveling earlier.

"Well I had gone to a very strange place called Wonderland by falling down a rabbit hole. The people made no sense and it was just a land of nonsense."
Alice told Giselle as she gently stroked Pip in her hand while he ate the blueberries. He reminded her slightly of Dinah her kitten for some odd reason.

"A rabbit hole? That's odd. Do you usually go to places by falling through rabbit holes? Or was that just a one time thing?" She asked, not helping bu to smile slightly. "A lot of things here are a bit of nonsense too, but not that bad."
Giselle ran a hand through her hair before using the hair tie around her wrist to pull it back into a ponytail, something she didn't do often. She smiled.

Alice shook her head quickly and somewhat eagerly to Giselle.
"No not at all. It was like I was going through the center of the earth. It was so deep and so odd at the same time. It was indeed quite a mess."
Alice said to Giselle recalling that day in her mind.
